Terms of Service

1. Definitions

• Platform: The Botpool website, applications, and related tools.
• User: Any person or entity using the Platform (including Clients and Freelancers).
• Client: A User purchasing or requesting a Service.
• Freelancer: A User offering and delivering a Service.
• Service: Any work, deliverable, or output offered and performed by a Freelancer.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Botpool.
• By creating an account, you confirm you have legal authority to enter into these Terms.
• Botpool may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

3. Accounts

• Users must register with accurate and current information.
• You are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality.
• Botpool may verify identity or request additional info to prevent fraud.

4. Services on Botpool

• Clients can purchase Services from Freelancers.
• Freelancers must deliver Services on time and as agreed.
• Botpool provides marketplace and payment processing but not Services directly (unless stated).

5. Payments

• Payments are processed securely through Botpool.
• Clients must pay in advance unless otherwise arranged.
• Botpool deducts a service fee from Freelancer earnings (fees shown on Platform).
• Withdrawals are subject to verification, processing times, and limits.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

• Clients may request cancellation if the Service has not started.
• Refunds may be granted in limited cases at Botpool’s discretion.
• If a Freelancer fails to deliver, Botpool may issue a partial or full refund.
• Disputes must be submitted within 3 days of delivery.

7. Ownership & Rights

• Upon full payment, Clients own the final deliverables (unless agreed otherwise).
• Freelancers retain rights to pre-existing materials, tools, or IP.
• Botpool may use completed projects (with permission) for marketing or portfolio purposes.

8. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or harmful content.
• Use Botpool for illegal purposes, spam, or fraud.
• Circumvent Botpool’s payment system.
• Harass, abuse, or exploit other Users.

Violations may result in suspension or permanent removal.

9. Disputes Between Users

• Botpool encourages direct communication to resolve issues.
• If unresolved, Botpool may review and issue a decision.
• Botpool’s decision is final and binding within the Platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

• Botpool is not responsible for service quality, safety, or legality.
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
• Our liability is limited to fees paid in the last 6 months.

11. Confidentiality & Privacy

• Freelancers and Clients must keep shared info confidential.
• Botpool’s Privacy Policy explains how we handle data.

12. Termination

• You may close your account anytime.
• Botpool may suspend/terminate accounts violating these Terms or harming the community.
• Termination does not affect accrued obligations (e.g., payments).

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States.

14. Changes to Terms

Botpool may update these Terms. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
