Fractional SaaS Architect — From First Wireframe to Production Deployment

About this Gig
I build SaaS applications from zero to live. Not just the code — the whole thing. You bring the idea or the problem. I handle product planning, system architecture, database design, API development, frontend implementation, DevOps setup, and deployment to your servers or cloud. You get a working product, not a backlog of tickets. What the engagement looks like: Week 1–2: Product scoping, user flows, technical architecture, and database schema Week 3–6: Core backend (REST/GraphQL APIs, auth, business logic), frontend (React/Vue/Angular), and real-time features if needed Week 7–8: DevOps pipeline, CI/CD, monitoring, server deployment, and staging-to-production flow Handoff: Documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer so your team (or I) can iterate Tech stack I typically work with: Backend: Node.js, TypeScript, Bun.js, Rust (for performance-critical paths), Laravel Frontend: React, Vue.js, Angular Database: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Percona — optimized before you feel the pain Infrastructure: AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, or bare-metal if you prefer Who this is for: Founders with a validated idea who need technical execution without hiring a full team Companies with a legacy product that needs a modern rebuild Teams that have designers and PMs but need someone who can actually ship the full stack I don't outsource. I don't disappear after "MVP." I build systems that scale, document them properly, and make sure someone can maintain them after I'm gone. Fixed-price sprints or monthly retainer. Let's talk scope.
Requirements
Questions What does your current stack look like? (languages, frameworks, databases) What are your biggest cost drivers on your last 3 months of infrastructure bills? What's your worst latency or performance pain point right now? How many daily active users do you have, and what's your peak traffic? Who will I be working with directly on your team? Any hard deadlines (funding round, product launch, contract renewal)? Any compliance requirements (PCI, HIPAA, SOC 2)? Any vendor lock-ins or things you absolutely cannot change? Is your team comfortable with Rust, or would you prefer I stay in your existing stack? Do you have a staging environment and CI/CD pipeline? Requirements Read-only access to your monitoring dashboard (Datadog, Grafana, CloudWatch, etc.) Last 3 months of cloud/infrastructure bills List of your slowest database queries or a recent performance report High-level architecture diagram (even a whiteboard photo works) A point person available for quick questions during the audit 30–45 minutes for a kickoff call
