I'm an AI Engineering Lead working in the healthcare space at Ilumina Health, where most of my work lives at the boundary between clinical data and language models.
Day to day that means things like: building agentic pipelines over FHIR resources, setting up MCP servers so clinical staff can query patient records in plain language, designing voice AI systems, and generally trying to make LLMs useful in environments where the stakes are higher than most.
Before this I spent years building production AI systems — RAG chatbots, voice calling agents, web scraping pipelines, and fine-tuning transformer models for custom datasets.
